Classes - Register Early as Classes fill up quickly!

Outdoor Rock Climbing - Begins MAY 1, 2008 see schedule below. Folks arrive at the climbing area at 5:OOpm or after to set up ropes and start climbing. We climb until sunset.

Previous experience with belaying is necessary. Climbers of all levels are welcome & encouraged to attend!!

• Anyone is welcome to climb outdoors with us provided they have prior belay experience and their own harness, helmet, belay device and locking carabiner.

• First timers with the group please contact Gini or Tim so we can arrange to meet you.

First THURSDAY of each month following that evenings climb. Join us for planning & pizza!

It is required that all AMC Mountaineering OUTDOOR events require a waiver of liability to be signed prior to participation in each event.  It is also required that all climbers participating in technical rock/ice climbing & skiing events to wear a climbing helmet.

2008 Weekend Trip Schedule

June 27-29 - Sport Climbing at Rumney, NH

Art Morenz is leading a week-end trip to Rumney, NH. Rumney is a popular sport climbing area; it also offers some trad routes.
 

July 25-27 - White Mountains Rock Climbing

Gini Kramer is leading this week-end trip to the Whites. There will be shared campsites, some group climbing, etc. Please contact Gini Kramer if you would like to participate.

August 8-10 - Adirondacks Rock Climbing Ron Curtis is leading this weekend trip to the DAKS. There will be shared campsites, some group climbing, etc. Please contact Ron Curtis if you would like to participate

Labor Day Weekend - Acadia Maine

Tim Linehan is leading this Labor Day week-end trip to Acadia, ME. There will be shared campsites, and group climbing at Otter Cliffs. Please contact John DeAngelis if you would like to participate.
