Beginning in October we move inside, change our meeting night to Tuesdays and climb at Prime Climb in Wallingford

COMMITTEE MEETINGS - During Outdoor Climbing season, the committee meetings are held on the FIRST Thursday of each month at Sax's Pizza in Plainville at 8:00pm following the scheduled climb.

Outdoor Rock Climbing -  Folks arrive at the climbing area at 5:OOpm or after to set up ropes and start climbing. We climb until sunset.

Previous experience with belaying is necessary. Climbers of all levels are welcome & encouraged to attend!!

• Anyone is welcome to climb outdoors with us provided they have prior belay experience and their own harness, helmet, belay device and locking carabiner.

• First timers with the group please contact Gini or Sandy so we can arrange to meet you

Planning Meetings

First TUESDAY during indoor climbing season of each month following that evenings climb. Join us for planning & pizza!

It is required that all AMC Mountaineering OUTDOOR events require a waiver of liability to be signed prior to participation in each event.  It is also required that all climbers participating in technical rock/ice climbing & skiing events to wear a climbing helmet.
