Along the Niger River to Timbuktu with David Roberts

David takes us on a journey headed northwest by bus to the old French colonial town of Segou, the medieval town of Djenne, with it's huge mud built mosque and colorful local market to the town of Mopti on the Niger River. He then travels by small river boat along the Niger, camping on it's banks, to the legendary city of Timbuktu.

AMC New-Members, Old-Members, and Non-Members are all welcome to this event.
