Work Projects followed by Social Hour

Join the Trails and Excursions Committees in a day of comradeship, hiking and working on the AT in Connecticut.

Get in a little hiking and work on the following projects:

Construct a Swing at Silver Hill Campsite
Install two bridges at Limestone Springs side trail
Perform Boundary Maintenance
Control (cribbing) at north end of Stanley Tract

If you enjoy hiking our trails, come out and learn how the trail is maintained.

Tools are supplied. Bring work gloves, lunch and plenty of water.

Please note the meeting location has changed!

Meet 9:00 am at Housatonic Meadows State Park day use area (not the campground). From the junction of Routes 4 & 7 at Cornwall Bridge, proceed North on RT 7 0.6mi. to the Housatonic Meadows State Park day use area. (The campground is another 1.1 mi. north.)

Get together for a Social to follow at 3:30 pm at HVA. Donations appreciated.
