Sleeping Giant State Park (Hamden, CT): Directions: follow Merritt (Rt.15) North to Exit 61. Travel North on Rt 10 (Whitney Ave.) and turn right onto Mt. Ragged Mountain: Directions to commuter parking lot for carpooling to trailhead: Heading East on I-84, take exit 28. Go left at the stop light at the end of the ramp. You will see a sign for the commuter lot on your right.
